“During the writing process of this song, I observed the insanity of this world, so many people utterly lost to themselves. Trying to find their place in a fast-paced and rapidly changing society without much success.
I remember feeling a similar sense of hopelessness when as a kid I was watching the 1982 animation film “The Snowman”, which is based on a book by Raymond Briggs. The song "Walking in the Air" got stuck in my head and you can hear the influence of that melody in my song, too. I reflect upon these feelings through an imaginary character who resides in another dimension in some kind of coma-like limbo trying to find a way out.
Towards the end of the song, the giving into the psychedelia represents a kind of state of enlightenment which a person finally achieves, to find a path of their own", the lyricist Petri Saarela opens up about the thought processes behind the piece.
